Please read carefully. By requesting a quote or booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Agreement & Parties
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all vehicle transport services arranged or provided by Auto Rocket LLC ("Auto Rocket," "we," "us"). By requesting a quote, paying a deposit, or tendering a vehicle for transport, you ("Customer," "you") accept these Terms in full.
2. Our Role
Auto Rocket is an auto transport broker with our own trucks and a trusted network of carrier partners. Some shipments move on Auto Rocket-owned or associated equipment; others are performed by independent carrier partners. We disclose when an independent third-party carrier will perform transportation.
3. Services
We specialize in open vehicle transport on our Northwest ⇄ Texas corridor, including intermediate points. Enclosed transport, other routes, and specialized moves may be arranged through third-party carriers when available, on a manual-review basis. Pickup and delivery locations, dates, and windows are estimates and are not guaranteed.
4. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are based on the information you provide, including vehicle year, make, model, condition, running status, modifications, and locations. A quote is valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. The final price is guaranteed only when the information you provided is accurate. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in a revised price or refusal of service. No sales tax is applied to interstate vehicle transport.
5. Deposit, Balance & Payment
A deposit is required to secure your rate and reserve transport space. The deposit is part of the total price, not an additional charge. The remaining balance is due at delivery, payable by cash, Zelle, or Cash App unless otherwise arranged. Deposits are paid online by credit or debit card.
6. Cancellation Policy
Same-day cancellation (the same calendar day you booked): 100% deposit refund. Standard cancellation (starting the following calendar day): may be subject to a fee equal to 25% of the deposit. Late cancellation (once within 3 calendar days of the beginning of the confirmed pickup window): the deposit becomes non-refundable. "Confirmed pickup window" means the pickup date range communicated and confirmed by Auto Rocket. Auto Rocket may override any of the above (full, partial, or no refund) at its discretion.
7. Vehicle Condition & Modifications
You must accurately disclose the vehicle's running condition, dimensions, and any modifications (lifted, lowered, oversized tires, etc.). Undisclosed conditions may change the price or the ability to transport. Non-running vehicles are accepted only when appropriate loading/unloading assistance (forklift or flatbed) is available; the customer is responsible for those costs.
8. Personal Items
Up to 200 lbs of personal items may be transported free, provided they are secured, below the window line, and legal. 201–500 lbs carries a $200 fee and must be declared. Over 500 lbs requires prior approval; the normal maximum allowance is 500 lbs. Prohibited items include illegal goods, hazardous materials, and weapons prohibited by law or carrier policy. Cargo coverage on the vehicle may not cover personal possessions.
9. Pickup, Delivery & Inspection
You or another adult age 18 or older must be available at pickup and delivery to release/receive the vehicle, review its condition, sign the Bill of Lading, and handle keys, unless alternate arrangements are approved. Note any new damage on the delivery Bill of Lading before signing. Large car haulers cannot reach every address; we get as close as safely and legally possible, and may arrange a nearby meeting location.
10. Delays
Estimated dates may be affected by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, road closures, government or regulatory actions, and other events outside our reasonable control. Such delays do not constitute breach.
11. Claims & Insurance
Assigned transportation providers maintain applicable cargo coverage, with a minimum transportation cargo limit of $100,000 where required by Auto Rocket's carrier standards, subject to that policy's terms, limits, and exclusions. Claims for transport-related damage must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of delivery. Pre-existing damage, mechanical/electrical issues not caused by transport, and personal items are not covered. Actual insurance documents override website marketing copy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auto Rocket's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transport service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Electronic Communications & Signatures
You consent to electronic communications and electronic signatures in connection with your transport, including the transportation agreement and Bill of Lading where applicable.
14. Governing Law & Severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
