These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all vehicle transport services arranged or provided by Auto Rocket LLC ("Auto Rocket," "we," "us"). By requesting a quote, paying a deposit, or tendering a vehicle for transport, you ("Customer," "you") accept these Terms in full.
Auto Rocket provides door-to-door and in-route vehicle transport on our dedicated lanes between Washington and Texas, including intermediate points along those routes. We operate our own equipment and work with vetted, licensed, and insured motor carriers. Pickup and delivery locations, dates, and windows are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Quotes are based on the information you provide, including vehicle year, make, model, condition, running status, modifications, and pickup/delivery locations. A quote is valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated. The final price is guaranteed only when the information you provided is accurate. Inaccurate or incomplete information (including undisclosed modifications, non-running status, oversized/overs_weight conditions, or incorrect ZIP codes) may result in a revised price or refusal of service.
A deposit is required to secure your rate and reserve transport space. The deposit is a portion of the total price, not an additional charge. The remaining balance is due at delivery, payable by cash, Zelle, or Cash App as arranged. Failure to pay the balance at delivery may result in storage fees or retention of the vehicle until payment is made.
You may cancel for a full deposit refund within 24 hours of booking, provided the booking was made more than one week before the scheduled pickup window. Cancellations after that period, or after a carrier has been dispatched, may forfeit the deposit to cover costs incurred. Refund requests are handled case-by-case; approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
You must accurately disclose the vehicle's running condition and any modifications. Up to 200 lbs of personal items may be transported in the trunk or cargo area at no charge, provided they are secured and below the window line; 201–500 lbs carries an additional fee and must be declared. Items over 500 lbs require prior written approval. Auto Rocket and its carriers are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle.
You or an authorized representative must be present at pickup and delivery to release and receive the vehicle, inspect it, and sign the Bill of Lading. Contactless delivery, where a trusted person receives the vehicle and keys on your behalf, may be arranged in advance. Transit times are estimates and may be affected by weather, road conditions, mechanical issues, or other factors beyond our control.
A Bill of Lading documenting the vehicle's condition is completed at pickup and delivery. You must note any new damage on the delivery Bill of Lading before signing. Claims for transport-related damage must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of delivery and are subject to the assigned carrier's cargo insurance. Pre-existing damage, mechanical/electrical issues not caused by transport, and personal items are not covered.
Vehicles are covered by the assigned motor carrier's cargo insurance during transport, subject to that policy's terms, limits, and exclusions. Auto Rocket can provide carrier insurance details on request.
For auction pickups (including IAA and Copart), you must provide valid credentials (lot number, buyer number, gate release information) and ensure all auction fees are paid before pickup. Delays, storage fees, or failed pickups resulting from invalid credentials or unpaid fees are the Customer's responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auto Rocket's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transport service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
